Novastar Prep is seeking an experienced AP Human Geography tutor to provide one-on-one online tutoring for high school students enrolled in AP Human Geography. This role is ideal for educators with strong subject-matter expertise who can support students with content mastery, exam strategy, and confidence-building in a personalized setting.

Tutors will work individually with students to review AP Human Geography units, explain key geographic concepts and models, support map and data interpretation, and prepare students for multiple-choice and free-response questions aligned with the College Board exam. This is a 1:1 tutoring role, not a classroom or group instruction position.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of AP Human Geography tutoring or teaching experience
Strong knowledge of the AP Human Geography curriculum and exam structure
Comfort delivering live, one-on-one instruction using online platforms
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Reliable internet connection and appropriate remote setup
Ability to commit to at least one academic semester
Ability to pass a background check

Compensation and Support:
$27-$30 per hour for online tutoring (DOE)
Bi-weekly direct deposit
Administrative support provided via success advisor
