Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven School Partnership Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building and managing partnerships with K-12 schools across Virginia and out-of-state schools (virtually), promoting our tutoring programs, mock test events, and small group classes. Additionally, this role will include creating and distributing marketing materials to schools and developing fundraising opportunities for school partners.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field, with a strong understanding of K-12 school systems. A self-starter with excellent organizational skills, patience, and a commitment to growing educational opportunities for students will excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage partnerships with K-12 schools in Virginia, focusing on building long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as PTAs, administrators, and educators.
- Present our programs, including mock test events, small group classes, and 1:1 tutoring, to schools, demonstrating the value and impact on student performance.
- Travel to school sites throughout Virginia to meet with PTA groups, administrators, and faculty to discuss program offerings and partnership opportunities (reliable vehicle required).
- Conduct virtual meetings with out-of-state schools to build relationships and promote services.
- Create and distribute marketing materials to schools to effectively promote our programs, services, and fundraising opportunities.
- Develop fundraising strategies in collaboration with school partners to generate revenue for the programs and support the educational mission.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure schools are engaged and informed about upcoming events, schedules, and program details.
- Meet and exceed goals for new school partnerships, student participation, and revenue generation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related field.
- Knowledge and understanding of K-12 school systems.
- Previous experience in a sales or partnership development role, preferably in education or a related industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to tailor presentations to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with schools and educational organizations.
- Ability to work independently in a remote office environment with access to a reliable vehicle for school site visits.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable using CRM systems.
- Organized, patient, and proactive with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong desire to make a positive impact in education and help students succeed.
