Student Success Advisor
Novastar Prep is seeking a Student Success Advisor to join our team. The Student Success Advisor is responsible for student success and retention objectives. The Student Success Advisor will proactively work with students, learning coaches (tutors), and their families to assure students are achieving their academic goals during their respective academic journey (K-12 and College).
Role & Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for our students/parents and learning coaches (tutors).
Cultivate strong brand loyalty with students, parents, and learning coaches through proactive communication/customer service functions.
Effectively onboard, match, and assign learning coaches accordingly to student's learning objectives.
Monitor student progress and maintain high levels of student satisfaction.
Proactively engage students and their parents to assure academic goals are properly set and positive progress is being made.
Educate existing students/parents and new inquiries about Novastar Prep’s academic services.
Maintain internal CRM to ensure student data integrity.
Contribute to a positive teamwork environment.
Experience and Desired Skills:
Experience working in a K-12 education setting, office setting, or similar environment.
Ability to understand the needs and challenges faced by K-12 students.
Genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic goals and higher self-confidence.
Passion for excellence and adaptability.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Technical skills: Preferred proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or any internal CRM system.
Education & work experience:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2-3 years of professional work experience, preferably in an academic setting.
Part-Time: 25 to 30 hours per week.
